This book talks about how God uses the average person so long as they are willing to follow Him. Max Lucado teaches the concept of rocking the world with hope. Of allowing God to use us in a way that makes a difference and leaves a legacy. In true Max Lucado fashion, this book shows biblical truths that are still so relevant in today’s world. He challenges us to live for God in a way that reaches past our lives and into the future for those who are to come. He issues a call to action past complacency and apathy and into a life lived for God.He looks at the Book of Acts with a new perspective and applies it to everyday life in the present.

I loved that the book was made up of short chapters for those times when you only have a few minutes in your schedule and want to read something meaningful, but also quick and easy to absorb. For me, the writing style was at an easy reading level, which is nice for those who don’t read regularly.

If you want to learn how to live in a way that is going to make a difference in the lives of those you touch and in the lives of people you may never meet, pick up “Outlive Your Life” and see what Max has to share.
